六(ROKU)」是琴酒工藝師純熟精確掌握各種原料,以及專注在製程上的細節所誕生的頂級琴酒。ROKU在日文裡代表著「六」,六(ROKU)使用了6種經典的日本植物:櫻花、櫻花葉、日本柚子皮、煎茶、玉露,日本山椒;這些植物都是順應四季時序,在植物最盛開的時候採收並擷取其中的精華及香氣,經過日本大阪三得利烈酒廠的日本琴酒工藝師浸製、蒸餾、最後調和而成。

六(ROKU)的細緻是透過6種獨特的日本植物、以及8種經典琴酒材料所表現出來的均衡風味。而在六(ROKU)製程中最獨特的地方是,為了擷取這6種日本植物最精華的風味,工藝師選用了不一樣的壺式蒸餾器分批蒸餾,而這樣的努力也為這層次豐富的琴酒帶來如絲般細緻平衡的口感。

日本職人精神對於細節的極致專注也展現在瓶身上,六(ROKU)的瓶身以六角形狀呈現,代表了使用的6種日本植物,同時,也將植物的樣貌以浮雕的形式呈現在6個面上;瓶標則以漢字「六」印製在傳統和紙上,細緻地加上燙金六角戳章。

六(ROKU)可加冰塊飲用,或者調製成日式的Gin & Tonic,日式Gin & Tonic是以薑及冰塊使琴酒中的柚子風味更清新,而有別於一般,日式Gin & Tonic更展現了日式待客文化中的「omotenashi」,將這樣的清新風味與朋友一起分享

Shinjiro Torii at the age of 20 had a dream to “create an original Japanese spirit blessed with the riches of Japanese nature and ‘monozukuri’ craftsmanship: a relentless pursuit for perfection, meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.” He then founded the House of Suntory in 1899 to pursue his dream.

Shinjiro overcame numerous hardships to make his dream a reality, creating wine, whisky and brandy, and launching Hermes Gin the first Suntory Gin in the year 1936. Shinjiro and his family continuously pushed his vision with the same challenging spirit, applying the philosophy of “yatte minahare” (go for it), to challenge market conventions and introduce innovative quality spirits for the world.

Today, the House of Suntory is proud to introduce Roku, the Japanese craft gin which in Japanese translates to the number six. The creation and perfection of Roku is based on more than 100 years of experience, knowledge and expertise. Every bottle of Suntory Roku Gin contains six very special botanicals that are sourced exclusively in Japan. Sakura flower, Sakura leaf, Sencha tea, Gyokuro tea, Sansho pepper and Yuzu peel are the six main botanicals in Roku Gin. Suntory also developed its own multiple distillation processes to bring out the special features of each botanical and perfectly balance the mix inside Roku Gin.

Complex, multi-layered, yet harmonious flavour of various botanicals. Traditional gin taste in the base, plus characteristic Japanese botanical notes with yuzu as the top note. Smooth and silky texture.

The crisp Japanese Sansho pepper brings a little spiciness to the finish.
